Students develop ideas for a related series that demonstrates documentary photography conventions. They choose their own subject matter, either person, place or event. Throughout the unit, they learn skills in researching documentary conventions, how to use a DSLR camera, photo editing and layout techniques using Adobe Design Suite. They process journal is presented in digital format to help them develop skills for the DP Process Portfolio.
